Next Year End Function - Friday 30 November 2012

This function is the highlight of our club year and you will really miss out if you do not attend.  During this evening we will award trophies and certificates for the best photos of the year.  It is a fun evening and we encourage you to bring the entire family along so we can get to know your "better half" as well.

Year end judging

Our club year runs from 1 October to 30 September.  During the month of October/November, an external panel of judges will choose the best photos of our 3 monthly categories as well as the best of 10 other open categories. The Monthly category competition is according to the star grading you are now. If you have moved to a higher star level during the year, your photos will also now be entered in the higher star level. In the Open Categories, star grading does not come into account.
 
Being a club member does not automatically enter you into this competition.  You have to enter your photos via Emma the same way you do your monthly entries.  Closing date for the entries is on 8 October 2012 at 12h00 and the judging will take place on 6 November 2012.  Results will be revealed at our Year End function on Friday 30 November 2012.

The following document will give you information about the Monthly categories as well as the Open Categories.  Make sure to read the definitions for each category carefully as your entry will be disqualified if your photo does not fall within the definition of the category.
