This is the PSSA Club Winning Image for 2011. The author is Frans Jesche and the Club is CCJ (Camera Club of Johannesburg).
The judge was Duncan McEwan the Scottish Photographer who was one of the main speakers at Congress. His comment was that all 11 images were top drawer images and he had a difficult task in choosing a winner, in fact all 11 authors he said need to be congratulated. He chose this one as he felt that it was a beautiful image, full of emotion and the treatment creates something of a 3D effect.
